How it all began
Our Story
Every great love story has a beginning. Ours started with a GIF, a little humor, and a lot of faith.
On June 5, 2024, after meeting online, Josh sent Adrienne a Mrs. Doubtfire “Helllloooo!” pie-in-the-face GIF. Whether it was the charm, the confidence, or simply the inability to ignore someone willing to lead with Robin Williams humor, the conversation took off. Before long, a coffee date was on the calendar.
What was supposed to be a simple coffee date quickly turned into hours of conversation and a walk through the kind of South Carolina heat and humidity that should probably come with a warning label. Somewhere between the coffee, the laughter, and trying not to melt, we discovered how easy it was to talk to one another.
Of course, no first date is complete without a discussion about serial killers and personal safety. As fate would have it, Josh had accidentally left a knife sitting on the counter after cutting something up earlier that day. Looking back, it’s probably not the best visual while discussing murder mysteries and stranger danger — but thankfully Adrienne decided to stay anyway.
From that day forward, what began as a simple date became something much bigger. We fell in love not only with each other, but with the life we were building together. Along the way came soccer games, family adventures, late night conversations, countless laughs, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with raising children.
Our greatest blessing has been our family. Together, we are proud parents to four amazing children: Cal, Mays, Maris, and Emerson. On March 25, 2025, we took a major step forward when we purchased our home together and officially blended our families under one roof. A house became a home, and our individual stories became one shared journey.
Then, on November 27, 2025, overlooking the beautiful waters of Lake Murray Dam, Josh reached into his pocket and pulled out a Cracker Jack box and asked Adrienne the easiest question he’d ever ask — and she gave the answer he was hoping for. It was a moment we’ll cherish forever, and one that marked the beginning of our next chapter.
Now, on December 29, 2026, surrounded by the people we love most, we celebrate not just a wedding, but the incredible journey that brought us here. Our story is one of laughter, faith, family, second chances, and finding your person when you least expect it.
